The Yamaha YCL-450 semi-professional Bb clarinet features a body, bell, and barrel made of Grenadilla wood gives the instrument not only a beautiful appearance, but also a rich sound. Blue steel needle springs used on professional models gives the keys a lighter touch and feel while allowing for smooth, quick key action. The Lucien deluxe double skin pads as used on Yamaha’s professional clarinet means fewer leaks, better sound, feel, and longer pad lifetime. Silver-plated keys are constructed through a technique called power forging ensures appropriate strength level.
