With features such as a high F# key, adjustable thumb rest, and silver-plated key touches, the Eastman EAS850 brings forth new innovations while also maintaining the best of what has made the classic French style saxophones so popular, and includes a well made backpack style case.
The Eastman EAS850 includes two neck styles, the "Street" and "Rue" style necks. The "S" or "Street" style neck has the same bore as the 52nd Street neck, ideal for jazz, while the "R" or "Rue" style neck tends to attract more classical players. Despite the intended uses of the necks, the feel and sound is subjective to each individual player.
