Key Features
The Yamaha YSL-354 student trombone is in the key of Bb and offers a bore size of 0.5” which refers to the diameter of the inner slide tubing. The 0.5” bore size is the standard for an entry level trombone instrument. A yellow-brass, 8”diameter entry level trombone bell is made virtually seamless using a pluzuma welding process that uses a high energy laser to fuse the brass together. The YSL-354 accepts small and medium shank mouthpieces.
